Mechanic's workshop

After attempts mechanical Amateur along the way, we finally arrive in Windhoek, the Namibian capital, headquarters of Great Wall Namibia. Our travel companion receives the best care. After a few hours of work, the mechanics we return it as new (more or less!).

Giuliano Radici - Photographer

Guliano’s strongest language is photography. It allows him to express both, his aesthetic and emotional skills. According to his words: “Photography is curiosity for everything beautiful and ugly”. You can find his photos in the MAM (the Museum of Modern Art, Rio De Janeiro), the Museum of San Marino, and the Fotokunst Museum (Denmark). When he looks for inspiration, he often wanders in the Orient. 

Paolo Corti - Driver

Behind the steering wheel between Bolivia and Argentina, you will find Paolo. He was born in Brescia (Italy) as well as some of his team colleagues (Giulio and Federico). Paolo is explorer and he goes for every adventure. 

Paolo Brovelli - Journalist

Paolo by origin comes from Milan. For about 30 years, he has been traveling all around the world. Brazil and Mexico became basically his second home in the last two years. With the aim to return at least a bit from what he got wandering around different countries, he started to write stories about the adventures from his travels. In 2007, he edited a book about 7 months in Ape Piaggio (an old car) on the Silk Road (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) and in 2014 another one about his travels around internal zones of Brazil. Recently he works as traveling guide. According to his words: “Traveling prolongs the life. The time of traveler values 7 times more than a normal one.”

Luciano Perbellini - Photographer

Luciano was born in Zevio (Verona, Italy) in1973. He studied Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona. In 1996, he started to publish articles about culture in the daily local newspaper L’Arena. In October 2001, after the September 11 attacks, he left to Afghanistan, where he focused on reportage photography. Then he continued in Albania, Thailand, India, Greenland, Fortaleza, Uganda, Mali, Ivory Coast, Malawi, Mali, Burkina Faso, Belarus and Amazon. In 2002, he opened his own photography studio Atelier bottega di fotografia in the beautiful city of Verona (Italy). His last project, 13 Coins, kept him busy for 6 years and brought him the first prize at the European Photo Book of the Year Award in 2010. 

Enrico Ranzanici - Videomaker

Enrico was born in 1980. He entered the world of audiovision when he was 20 years old and since that, he continued experimenting in various directions. He is the author of many documentaries, corporate films, short films and video installations. After being graduated in Videomaking at the European Institute of Design in Milano, he started to collaborate with the film production company - Albatrosfilm. In 2007, he made the documentary film The Mystery of The Stones, Louis Lineri and Adige, which is archived in L’Art Brut in Lausanne. In 2009, he directed the short film titled The Pistol, for which he won 13 national and international film festival awards. 

Flavio Alagia - Driver

Born in Zurich in 1984, a degree in Journalism from Università degli Studi di Verona in 2008. His professional limbo kept ranging from press offices to newspapers, magazines and finally the web. He loves travelling, hates flying, and during his journeys he lived in Verona, Zurich, London, Cape Town, Mumbai and Casablanca. He is since 2012 the editor of ThinkingNomads.com and NonSoloTuristi.it, which also showcased his first book, “Dal Capo al Cairo”, followed in 2014 by “Liguria Low Cost”, published by BUR.
